2014 is surely going to be special for Delthities. Scraping
all the political parties aside, a debutant party won elections and is now set
to rule this city of crores. Without even a pinchful of suspicion, Kejriwal and
the AAP’s victory can be considered as the birth of salutary days in Delhi. The
crowd gathered at Ram Leela grounds in New Delhi hearing Delhi’s Seventh and
the youngest Chief Minister swear-in was spectacular. The interest towards
politics was almost dead and people had become prone to the politics full of
scams and instability. But this young gentleman’s voice had so much power that
the zombies too turned alive and active.
He has a vision, unlike many others who have attained the CM’s
seat in New Delhi so-far. His efforts united the county and have supplied
ripples of hope in many.
As the day of Arvind Kejriwal’s swearing-in dawned, crowds
began to throng Ram Leela ground. Slogans in support of Arvind Kejriwal ro

After the Swearing ceremony, the enthusiasm in the crowd
multiplied as they attempted to get to the stage where Kejriwal was standing.
At this point, Kejriwal had to make an appeal to the people for co-operating
and not breaking the barricade as the police personnel were facing a
difficulty.
- · The victory of the Aam Aadmi.
“Today is a historic day. We’ve just taken the oath. But it
is not Arvind Kejriwal and six others who have taken the oath. The oath has
been taken by each and every member of the public. Aaj
aam aadmi ki jeet hui hai. The people of Delhi have shown that it
is possible to contest and win elections without corruption. My heartiest
congratulations to all of them. This is a big victory for the people of Delhi. I
thank God, Allah, Wahe Guru for this victory, for this miracle. Two years ago,
we couldn’t have thought that the aam aadmi’s would break the shackles of
corruption, fight an election and come to power. This is not short of a
miracle. And it hasn’t happened because of us. Yeh
kudrati karishma hai aur main Ishwar ka dhanywad karta hoon, Allah ko shukriya
kehta hoon. Do not have solution to all the problems. Don't have a
magic wand. 1.5 crore people will work together for a better Delhi. Anna told
me many time that politics is muck and we should stay away.
But I said we should go in and change it. We have all
stepped out to clean this politics and for the past 2 years we have been
fighting and have lost Santosh Koli. We need to show the country that if
everyone unites we can free this country of corruption and poverty. I plead
with folded hands to all my ministers and workers, please do not become proud. We
came here to serve and we will go to our constituencies and serve the common
man of whom we are a part. The path to truth is not a bed of roses but filled
with thorns but we are ready for all the challenges and will govern Delhi. We
have a big responsibility and a lot of expectations from the people of Delhi
and it frightens me but I pray to god. I ask god to help us to do our duty. I
know Dr Harshvardhan, he is a nice man but I can't say the same about his
party. In the next election with a large majority the people will help the Aam
Aadmi Party win. In the last two years, we’ve tried everything - protests,
fasts, demonstrations. But we realised that we cannot change anything unless we
join politics. Annaji used to tell me often that politics is dirty, and i would
explain to him that the time has come for us to enter this dirty world and
clean it up. Today, a lot of the problems that our country faces are because of
dirty politics. Our education, hospitals, roads are bad because of the bad
politics. In the last two years a great change has come in India, it is a big
miracle, a change is sweeping the country. I believe in the next five years
India will once again become a 'Golden Sparrow'. We will give you a phone
number in some days. Do not refuse to give a bribe but help us catch the guilty,”
said Arvind Kejriwal addressing the people of India as the crowd roared in
support of him.

- After the swearing ceremony, Arvind alongwith the other AAP
MLA’s visited Rajghat to pay homage to the Mahatma Gandhi.
Soon after Anna Hazare addressed the press and said that he
was very confident that Arvind and his team would do a good job.
Kiran Bedi on twitter tweeted, “May God protect Arvind, his
team and Aam Admi who has driven the change in value systems in politics. Good
for the entire country!”
Aam Aadmi Party leader Yogendra Yadav tweeted, “Listening to
Arvind at ramlila grnd. Never thought politics and hope could come together
like this in my lifetime.”
“I wish good luck to Arvind Kejriwal. I hope AAP with the support
of Congress gives Delhi a stable government," BJP chief Rajnath Singh
said.
Singer Sonu Nigam tweeted, ‘I guess an AAP like revolution
is coming around in music too. No one, I repeat not even d newer lot, is ready
2 be treated unlawfully.’
